We put three of our exclusive stars together for this striking new necklace. This five-pointed star has a simple, classic shape, but it’s not until you look closer that you discover the superbly detailed female face peering out from the center. Her eyes are closed…perhaps she is sleeping? You can easily see the individual strands of her long hair as it spreads over the creased points of the star. This star is from an old French mold we found in Paris that dates to 1891. The stars are in 18kt rose gold vermeil over sterling silver cast in our own studio. The special burnished, matte antiqued Rose Gold finish we hand-apply is rapidly becoming a hallmark of our collection. Dangling from the bottom star is a top-quality faceted rich red ruby gemstone. Above are cubes of fine-quality, richly colored natural amber, drilled diagonally and spaced along a copper chain. At back is a rose gold vermeil lobster clasp embellished with rhodolite garnet rondelles. Necklace measures 16 ½ to 18 inches long with garnet tipped copper extender.
